There's nothing like a great friendship
to keep us on our toes
Keeping up with all the attention
Those friendly people show

They send us hugs and kisses too
And as we get them in
We must be sure to send some back
Here they come, I've hit send

I call upon my best friend

Caught up in the storms of life,
Not knowing which way to turn,
I call upon my best friend
To carry me through the storm.

He walks beside me every step,
Guiding me along the way.
He carries me when I can't walk
And brings sunshine to my day.

He comforts me when I am torn
And fills my heart with peace.
He wipes away all of my tears
When I'm crying on my knees.

Though others may desert me,
My friend is always there.
Though others let me down,
I know He always cares.

He never will forsake me.
His love for me is true.
My friend who carries me

Has your heart been broken?

Do you wonder where to go?

The only way is Jesus.

I have some friends

I have some friends,
whom I hold dear.
Without them,
I'd have nothing to hold near.

My friends will always be there for me.
I know that because, I have nothing to fear.
I always seem to think at night,
of what life would be like without them here.

It's a scary thing to think about.
not having no one to care.
I dont know what I would do,
because friendship is very rare.

I'm glad I found the time to write,
this poem I wrote this year.
I just hope you think of me,
'cuz this is so sincere.

Portrait of a Friend

can't give solutions to all
oflife's problems, doubts, or fears.
But I can listen to you and
together we will search for answers.

I can't change your past with all it's
heartache and pain, nor the future with it's
untold stories. But I can be there now when
you need me to care.

I have the greatest friend on earth

Sisters by god but not by birth

I owe her a lot for all she has done for me

Without her in my life I am not sure where I'd be

We will be best friends forever until we die

We have certain jokes that no one would understand but her and I

Together we share our life story

We look for good in others glory

She is amazing every single day

I admire and look up to her in every way

She understands me and I don't have to explain

She brings her sunshine to the rain

It seems like only yesterday
With a teardrop in my eye
That you were born into this world

The days flew by and turned to weeks

Why God Made Friends

God made the world with a heart full of love,
Then He looked down from Heaven above,

And saw that we all need a helping hand,
Someone to share with, who'll understand.

He made special people to see us through
The glad times and the sad times, too;

A person on whom we can always depend,
Someone we can call a friend.

God made friends so we'll carry a part
Of His perfect love in all our hearts.

Why GOD Gave Us Friends

GOD knew that everyone needs
Companionship and cheer,
He knew that people need someone
Whose thoughts are always near.

He knew they need someone kind
To lend a helping hand.
Someone to gladly take the time
To care and understand.

GOD knew that we all need someone
